District 3: April Herron

I have been a resident of Carbon Hill since I was born in 1978. My parents are Darlene and Dewayne Kennedy. I am married to Jeremy Herron and we have three children and one grandchild. I attended Carbon Hill schools my whole life, and after graduation I went on to attend UAB Walker College. I have great optimism and love for this city and its citizens. I believe this quote by Anne Frank speaks volumes to our community, “Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be, how much you can love, what you can accomplish and what your potential is!”
